Concerned about water, this site is an expression of the passion I have for the subject. While we are certainly facing continued drought conditions here in California, the world as a whole is facing a multitude of water-related issues beyond just drought. Populations continue to grow and with less than 1% of the earth’s water available for drinking and bathing, I’ve become an enthusiastic supporter of water conservation.

I have teamed up with my good friends Bruce and Eileen Broderick of Being Water LLC, and share their water-conserving products on this site.  Together with Bruce and Eileen, I developed the concept of The 4 Levels of water conservation that applies to actions we can take as individual citizens towards conserving water. If everyone adopted and put into practice one or more of The 4 Levels, we could make a huge impact towards conserving water.

Next, the three of us established The Straws For Life Project and tied it into the marketing of the water conserving products that we all need anyway. This has been a hit with the public. We believe that business should be for profit, but that profit should support a larger purpose. Therefore, 5% of our profits are donated directly in support of the Straws For Life Project.

Think about it, you can “double-down” with us by conserving water in your home while easily helping others around the world gain access to safe drinking water.
